Joan M Robinson

Joan M. Robinson 70 of Creal Springs passed away Thursday December 21, 2023 at 10:50 P.M. at the Herrin Hospital. She was born on September 2, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Charles & Margaret Reid.  Joan married Guy G. Robinson on January 5, 1972 in Woodstock, Illinois and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2013. She was a CNA. Joan was survived by; 3 children David A. Robinson, Linda Ann (Joe) Nagel, Joe (Amanda) Robinson, 5 grandchildren; Tyler Robinson, Sammy (Hailey) Raines, Tayvin (J J) Robinson, Jordon Raines, Prezley Copeland, 1 great grandchild; Taylin Robinson, 6 brothers and sisters; Peggy Garrels, Jackie Gerber, Judy Grossichs, Jean Ferre, Donny Reid & Theresa Reid a brother-in-law Jerry Chayer. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother; John Reid and 3 sisters; Nancy Reid, Carol Chayer and Jane Miller and a best friend Theresa Lambert.  Funeral Services will be Wednesday December 27, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home in Creal Springs with visitation Wednesday morning from 11:00 A.M. to funeral hour at the funeral home. Rev Ken Sharp will officiate with burial in the County Line Cemetery Creal Springs. Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home of Creal Springs in charge of arrangements.
